Well I've been writing music for about 12 years, but up until very recently no-one has heard it. But I've gone public and would like some feedback from you the general public.

my personal preference is rock music, just felt some of the tracks lacked instruments, prehaps some drums and a bass instrument. Recordings need some work, maybe record the guitar and vocals seperately and mix them afterwards. I thought the bottom 3 worked very well as solo tunes.

keep up the good work, perhaps start a band and get a website or myspace going so people can keep track of your goings on.

I'm a guitarist myself and was leadguitarist in a rockband, so it's not really my genre.. But sounded ok though.. The guitar sounded a little 'stringy' and cheap to me. Recently changed the strings? ;) Could also be the downsampling on youtube ofcourse. Or did you attach the guitar directly to the line-in on you PC? That allways gives weird sounds.. Try using you amp and a good mixer. That should do the trick.

Keep up the good work and try your songs in a band. That would really sound sweet with some drums, a bass and a great vocalist.. :)

4 channel mixer no preamp into the mic socket on the sound card for the guitar. yeh its the guitar(dropped it 6 weeks after I bought it for £300 new instantly turning it into a £50(case zip broke and it fell out of the bottom of the case onto a solid floor¬_¬)). I've put some of my "produced" stuff on my original post.

Hopefully one of these days I'll have some spare time to listen when I can actually unmute the volume too (so not at work or with GF sleeping ;) )

Guitarist/singer myself btw :)

We could cover all those great game music themes like Monkey Island and stuff :o
All we need is a drummer and whe're set to go \o/

Not bad... Slap in some rock vocals, mix it with a bit of DJ'aying/turntable'in' and then add some random swear words, then make a CD, then you have a buyer.. Me!

That's the Limp Bizkit formula for making songs.. ;)
