A friend of mine get's it 360 soon. He can get a strange brand HDTV with these specs and name:

It has a D-Sub connector but is 720p and has the right resolution. Is there a sort of connector to put on the component plugs? Or is there a complete new cable that can be bought to connect it? It seems that this TV has a lack of component connection

It also lacks a good responce time and contrast ratio.. And what's with the 27"? Normally a TV is 26" or 32"... strange tv :?

Well it depends. I mean I have a Sony screen for office 17 inch but also HDTV component which officially is also 16 ms. But it gives no ghosting and all games look really great. But still. Yup it's a strange TV it's some thing from China or so. He can get it with his mobile subscription on a phone ;) But still, anyone knows if the connector can be done?

The resolution is exact 720p and that's great. No stretching no black lines besides the screens. But still the connector...

About the D-sub.. Isn't it simply a VGA connector?

In other words, you can attach the 360 with a VGA cable and you're set to go.. :P

D-Sub is VGA. But the usage of HDTV ready is wrong. HDTV ready requires HDCP support.

Could be I'm not into connectors. But thanks! THat sounds great. If his TV performs great on the 360 I will post it here. Even better I'll get that screen myself also with a new mobile subscription haha

D-Sub is VGA. But the usage of HDTV ready is wrong. HDTV ready requires HDCP support.

Well, the resolution from the TV is 1280 x 720 so I guess VGA will do just fine that's no component HD but resolution is right

This saturday I am shopping in a city where there is a shop that has this TV's. I'll check it out myself I got curious about it
