ello,
I'm living in Netherlands and having a 12-month live subscription since the very start (december 2005). All was well and great, but since the big spring dashboard update I haven't seen any content in the media & entertainment section. I didn't think too much of it, since I didn't care too much about it, but now I read everywhere the Dead Rising demo is online, also in the Netherlands (since a few friends of mine have already downloaded it and played it), but I can't find it in the game demo's section or anywhere else.
Does anyone have a clue what all this is about? Is it a regional problem, or is it something else? I wouldn't have a clue! I'll call support tomorrow, but wanted to know if anyone knows about it and maybe how to fix it...
anyone ?

Demos are found like this: Marketplace > Game Downloads > Dead Rising > Dead Rising Demo, I believe.
Try that.
EDIT: Media and Entertainment is for things like Red vs Blue videos, as far as I know.

I know where to find those things,
the problem is that there's no content available to me... nothing listed (in media section) and dead rising isn't listed in the game demo's section where it is for all other people...

Is it something to do with your personal settings? Do you allow 3rd party stuff or whatever?

My Dutchie account has downloaded LOTS and lots of Marketplace content including trailers etc., so I'm rather at a loss at what could be wrong. Age settings would block Saints Row demo just as hard as Dead Rising, so that can't be it either. My recommendation would be to give Xbox support a quick call, they should be able to sort out stuff like this.

lol, this is weird (like with internet problems with windows)
so I tried some more (while hanging on to the phone for support) settings and things. First I tried the standard xbox live connection test, it said ICMP connection failed, so I updated my firmware on my router which fixed the problem. But no, I still couldn't find any media & entertainment and no dead rising demo.
So I went on... trying some stuff in family settings (nothing changed there) and then I tried making a new live account, to test if I could see dead rising demo, since it takes ages to make a new account on the xbox360 itself I got bored and canceled it, logged in with my own gamertag and whaddaya know!! the media section is filled and YES I'm downloading the dead rising demo!!
in the meanwhile it's possible support will call me to help me out :) Since they were too busy this afternoon :D
thx for the replies guys!
