View Full Version : Xbox 360 Camera insert reveals new games?

The booklet that comes with the Xbox 360 camera has details of a few games in it. There's Uno and Texas Hold Em obviously, but also:

Classic Board Games
Play face-to-face with one of 4 classic board games - Checkers, Reversi, Mancala and Chess.

I used to be a bit of a demon chess player, so I'll probably get that one. Mancala? 8) 8)

No release dates shown, but I'm sure it can't be too far off if Microsoft are advertising them? Not sure whether the 4 will be sold separately (probably, the money-grabbing bastards) but the leaflet makes it look like the 4 come as one "Classic Board Games" package.

Hmm and they're not on the last list (http://www.xboxic.com/news/1361) either. Ought to be simple games though.

The only one with support at the moment is Uno, the streaming video image from your camera appears in place of where your gamer pic would normally be.

Texas Hold Em doesn't support at the moment, but really should, hopefully it will be in the patch.

Pic/video quality are both excellent btw

Thats alright but i kinda dont see the point but i suppose it its to appeal to a certain audience and MS seem to be doing that alot now. Which is definatly not a bad thing

I just checked at xbox.com but there's still that GI Joe picture as your gamerpic. Will check my box when I get home this evening.

You can still send a video message to people though, so does that mean that if someone cuts you up in PGR3 I can send them a video of my arse with a voiceover telling them where to stick it?

Just checked for you and the scoobydoo is there.. nice :)

PS: there's a brothers in arms trailer on marketplace with a wopping 800MB in size.. :? downloading now ;)

Yea I can see the Scooby as well lol. I've got the video going as well, but it says a demo run through, but for that size I'd rather have the demo.
