Acctual confimation of Assassin's Creed for PC on 1up.com. Well...what it means to me is that the only game I really wanted for PS3 and was tempting me in the next year or two to take the 600 dollar plunge is readily availible for a platform I own...Bonus is that by the time it is released I'll be able to use my 360 controller with the wireless adapter on the PC.
UPDATE: Ubisoft representative Michael Beadle issued this statement to 1UP this morning regarding Assassin's Creed on the PC: "Assassin's Creed PC will indeed see the light some day. Details will be provided at a later date." What does this mean for the long-discussed Assassin's Creed on 360 business? It probably isn't bad news, but nothing to announce just yet.
ORIGINAL STORY: Ubisoft still won't confirm the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed is coming to Xbox 360 (timed exclusive or not) despite all indications it's on the way, but we're one step closer to, well, something as Computer & Video Games says the latest issue of PC Gamer UK contains a first-look preview at the PC version.
Still, Ubisoft continues to dodge comment; something tells me the company's PR department has a spam filter designed for anything related to Assassin's Creed that doesn't include PlayStation 3 in the subject. We're fired off requests for details based on the overseas preview, and we'll (hopefully) report back with more soon.
