Anyone going to be picking this one up?

I put alot of hours into BF2 and loved it. Shame it was so buggy.

Lets hope 2142 isnt.

I think I'll get it. I love BF2 for the pc. Actually jsut started fooling around the BF2 Special Ops, which is pritty good. There's an open beta right now for BF 2142 , but you have to be a paying member of fileplanet to get it. I think Fileplanet, it may be Filefront if not.

I probably won't get it. Maybe I'm just getting old, but there's only so many random wartime shooters I can play. And I suck at the multiplayer, so that's no fun either.

yeah will be great but need to get a new pc getting an alienware cause my pc ihad since 2000 time fo new one can barely play bf2 plus i want a pc for my room

Our friends at EA ( ;( ) have announced an open demo is to be released this week.

And it will be likely that the patch to make this demo work will come out somewere Q1 2007 8)

I bet EA released it to Microsoft this week, which then will be released 6 months after the actual game launches to us.

Yea, pc only. But if your computers can handel it, I would suggest the demo when it comes out. My friend is loving the beta right now.

Just downloaded and pleyed the demo and I am very disapointed. Didnt even come close to my expectation. I have quite a fast PC with plenty of memory and a good graphics card but I get a lot of strange thinks, like flickering images and large black parts where builings are suppose to be. Also gameplay not very good. I think I will stick to playning BF2 and skip this game.

And the res. doest go over 1024*786 WTF! 8)7
