Was wondering if anyone has one of these and if so how their experience with it is, I've read some bad reports about it and would like to talk to anyone who actually owns one to see how they perform.

I bought a laptop cooling platform which my 360 just sits on top of. It looks awesome as its the same colour as the 360 and exactly the same footprint. It connects to the USB and takes its power from the 360 plus has a cool blue LED. I bought it from Amazon for around £15, best purchase I ever made. I can play on my 360 for hours then walk over and touch it and its as cool as when i turned it on, where as before without the cooler it was like molten metal after a few hours play.

Heres the link to the cooling platform I have.

Worth every penny!

What does that have to do with the charger though :P

I've reviewed some stuff from Nyko, and well they make sure you know why you're paying less. For a battery charger however I'm curious what they could screw up, it's not much more than routing electrical currents towards the batteries, how hard can that be?

I don't have the NYKO charging station, I bought the Microsoft charging station. When in doubt, go with the manufacturer. I assume you are reffering to the battery charging station for the wireless controllers, yes? If so, you are looking at around 30 buck for a battery and charging station, they're cheap and I've had no issues with either battery nor charger.

The problem you run into is the configuration of hardware between to manufacturers, so its best not to mix and match hardware for that reason. Hope this was helpful.

MS isn't really ludicrously expensive anyway, and you know they give proper service and warranty et al. Considering my experiences with Nyko (\http://www.xboxic.com/news/851) I'm not saving pennies on the accessories :)
