Saw the screen shots...just leads to a couple questions
I see no local multiplayer shownen, even though i know this was mentioned before adding multiplayer live play...
and second question
any chance 2 people on same xbox will be able to play on live at the same time?
Thanks
Keep up the great job Dennis

As far as I know it's possible to play with up to 4 people on the same Xbox 360.

Hey Tron!
1. Split screen is available through "Arcade mode" (up to 4).
2. Nope. It was design as one person per console Live multiplayer.
I actualy have no example of games using this feature. If you know of one, please let me know.
Have a good one.
Denis.

I wish more games would do that, and allow the 2 users on the same xbox to sign in under different gamertags, for acheivment and highscore purposes, nice to play some games in 2 player mode, but sucks when you get some acheivment you been trying forever for, and your playing with someone else.

I'm pretty sure Perfect Dark Zero allows 4 player split-screen on Live as long as at least one person is signed in. Those not signed into an account will be guests on the first signed in player's account (they'd be curry684(1) for me for example) but you can also have 4 people signed in.

Tron,
You won't be able to join a Live session with two players.
But if you play split screen, each player can sign in and apply for any acheivements in the game (or leaderboardsfor that matter).
So you won't miss on goodies we put in the game ;)
Have a great day.
Denis.
GRAW :)
Thanks.
You passed the first stage of "how do I make myself indispensable in XBoxic forums?" 8)
I'd love to see how this works, except I don't play GRAW (or very little).
How does split screen in Live affects your gaming experience?

only good for cheating by working each other (then again.. you could create team vs team then)

I played PDZ on Xbox Live once with a friend, and apart from having an appalling resolution (I still run CRT at home :X ) there wasn't much different from regular :)

Ever heard of a little game called halo2? 8)7
I think Live with Local Multiplayer should be a cert requirement for a lot of games (or maybe even just have a different cert process for different types of games i.e. FPS RTS MMORPG MMOFPS all that bull shit), in last gen there was a huge lack of this feature (i.e. games like splinter cell, counter strike, rainbow six...yada yada yada) and i could play on live but was locally alone :( ...most of my friends are broke and cant afford a 360 or a nice TV or a live subscription for that matter, and with this Gens emphasis on community and "bringing the family back to the console" it would be nice to be able to give my firiends and family a little taste of gaming heaven with live local multiplayer at me casa.
:) :D ;) :) :*) :) :9~ :-( ...see look how happy we are (except for that stupid fuck at the end he smells funny and nobody likes him)
Holy shit I am a parenthesis whore!!!!1!
edit: and aparently an edit whore, i think i need a job that keeps me more busy HA! :Z

According to this page, there are a few games that allow you to play on live, with 2 or more people on the same xbox 360
http://www.my360stats.com/games/multiplayer/
a few mentioned are
Cloning Clyde, (never played myself, anyone else)
GRAW (have it, but havent tried)
Perfect Dark Zero (never played)
The Outfit (never played)
it would be great if more games included this, especially for longer online games like Tigerwoods , instead of waiting for ever to take turns
it would be nice to play online with more than one person on the same 360 agaist other people, as teams and so on.

You mean "Guess what Xbox360Achievements.org got hold of".
I don't think they are great choices of achievements. I mean, it's very unfair to someone who doesn't have a someone to play on split screen with. I have a second controller and I'll probably twist my brother's arm to do them with me. But if he sucks at it, well then I'm screwed.
Little curios as to why there are no Live achievements. I'm not complaining, just curios. Probably because they had the achievements already planned out before they added Live.
You know what? I think I'll go and stir it up at X360A by posting a link to the topic that Denis answers questions in here.
Only joking

Sorry Curry for not giving you the exclusivity, but I thought that the name of the web site was best suited to get our acheivements first ;)
On the other hand, I might have some goodies for xboxic real soon...

So, I was browsing the interwebs today and came accross a video that shows you what is on a 'big-wigs' Xbox debug kit, and low and behold, Mad Tracks was on there! So, from my amazing calculations of my retarded brain, if it's up and running on the debig thingy-ma-bobbers, it can't be too far from release, right Denis?
