hey, i live in NJ and the release date for GoW is NOV 8....i just got a call 10 minutes ago from EB games and they said that my copy was in and there holding for me(since i preordered) i couldnt believe it cuase it was supposed to come out in 2 more days for me, so to make sure, i asked them if they were literally holding the game in their physical hands and they said yes so imma bout to go and get it!!!

anybody else preorder and get theirs early like me??? just curious

i gots it!!! THey gave it to me!! just the whole start up screen and the intro is sweet!! The framerates were perfect with no faults, there was literally only 1 framerate fault, my xbox was hott though cause ive been playin it for a long time, and it was when there was like 1000000 people in 1 tight area, and even then, it only skipped like half a beat if u knwo what im saying.......


definatly a winner though in my book......There wasnt that many people online with it but i know there will be today because it comes out for the rest of you!!! share your thoughts on the game here when you get it !!

With a bit of luck the extra week the yanks get playing GOW will cause temporary (permanent we can only wish for) loss of speech.....so that come our release day for the game we won't have to suffer the screeching, whoopin' and a hollerin' of fifty thousand pre-pubescant uncle sam shaggers who think that they can rule the earth by weighing 600 pounds each whilst simultaneously scoffing the lastest super triple 8 kilos of beef, heart attack in a bap lard burger and having their intolerant inbred heads up their own shitholes.....mainly the exact reason I refuse to play Halo 2.......word.

In his defense I have noticed recently that Live is terribly slow in updating last played games, achievements and online status ;) I've noticed 8+ hours delays in my own played games appearing up there.

Call of Duty 3 is a solid game but with so many available game options this christmas I can only recommend it for those who truly enjoyed COD 2.

There are few great touches; like you can actually pull the pin on a grenade now and throw it when it's about to blow, you can throw grenades back at the enemy, and the graphics, especially folliage and have been improved.

Multiplayer has had a LOT of attention; you can now FINALLY play 4 players on one console on Live! ala halo 2 / PDZ (finally pdz can stay on the shelf where it belongs).

The roomates weren't home, and not enough people owned the game yet to find a big game on live, but this may be the third best MP game this year (behind gears and resistance, r6 vegas is a strong contender though).

I'm happy I bought COD 3 though, it will definetly get some TLC from me this winter.

Call of duty 2 was awesome and I was even alright when playing it , I willl get this 3rd one in the near future for sure to mate . Specially if it has missions where your driving a tank or vehicle those were my favorite on the 2nd game . Am I lucky that I got it free with my 360 cos I wouldnt have bought it .
