After reading this (http://www.xboxic.com/news/1935) yesterday, I felt compelled to hunt for more info regarding Novadrome.

I am a massive fan of futuristic racing games. Wipeout, pod, Quantum Redshift (wow), Rollcage, you name it, i've played it (and invariably liked it too).

So, the info I've managed to pull together about 'Novadrome' is as follows:
Clue 1: In 2004 Stainless Games Ltd (http://www.stainlessgames.com/news/report190304.asp) were developing a futuristic online racing game for the PS2, Xbox and PC. Unfortunately, the game never saw release.
Clue 2: Old Screenshots (http://www.gamershell.com/pc/novadrome/screenshots.html?id=46)! Looks like a cross between pod and Auto Assault.
Clue 3: Stainless Games, although best known for making Carmageddon, developed and released Crystal Quest on the XBLA. So they've had experience with 360 development.
Clue 4: On Major Nelson's #200 podcast, they briefly go on about Novadrome "released by Buena Vista Games and developed by a small indie developer" - Stainless are reasonably small and independent.
Issue: Nothing on Buena Vista Games, or Stainless Games sites to confirm the game. No recent screenshots (it may or may not have had some cosmetic changes.)

So, onto the speculation. This is quite likely one and the same game. Stainless Games are no strangers to downloadable games, nor are they strangers to games involving futuristic racing and carnage. This, to me, looks like a game resurrected from the publishing doldrums, and at the right number of Microsoft Points could be the perfect thing to play whilst waiting for Mad Tracks. If this is the Novadrome they're on about, that is ;)

EDIT: Hurrah, I was right! (http://www.planetxbox360.com/index.php/articledetails/show/822)

Sounds interesting. Though I haven't played that many Future-esque racing games. I've played most of the wipeouts except the latest two, I've also played F-Zero GX, though didn't like it much cause it's very twitchy (or at least that's how I felt about it). Would be nice to see this though, always could use more XBLA games.
