So if I ship my north american (US) 360 to Japan will it work here? They both use NTSC I think, so... will it work? I was going to buy the Wii, but I just decided to ship my 360 over... along with GOW and SC:DA, and maybe RB6 soon enough... ahh its like waiting for lauch day all over again...

I believe there were 2 NTSC standards but I'm not really sure. And you should keep the power conversion in mind as well.

There are 2 NTSC standards yeah but the standard is only used for ancient TVs and region encoding. So you'll still be tied to NTSC/U regionlock, but otherwise it should work fine.

I'll have my games shipped from the US (never thought I would "import" from the US). Plus, there are some game that are region free so I'll be able to buy them here. Japan and the US actually use the same outlet, except 3-prong isn't in Japan, so I actually have to find a 3-prong to 2-prong adapter... Thank and sorry about the name Curry, I should have been more specific. So the TV I might have to use is an old little sony tv, maybe 90's area. Think it would work (It costs a lot to ship a 360 over here, trust me).

Isn't it cheaper to buy a new one in Japan then? I hear rumors they're dead cheap there with bundles and all ;)

I would, but I'm also 16, so I can't exactly be like, "Mom, Dad, I know you spent a small fortune already sending me here, buying me a camera, computer, and a bitchload of other stuff, but I think I need to buy a Japanese 360, even though I already have one."
Or where you talking about a TV? I could get a TV cheap probably, and my folks probably wouldn't even notice if I didn't say anything. ¥29,000 is a little too much (Thats how much the Blue Dragon bundle is). Hopefully it will just work on one of the two TV's I have in my apartement, but they are both old. In my host family's apartement they have a nice, newer TV, but then they would notice that I am playing Gears of War all the time instead of studying my japanese. Plus, I like to smoke when I play a shooter, soooo.. haha
