ok here are some tips :
* run in arcade mode, using sport cars (the obvious tip)
* boosts bonuses are the key. you need to have at the minimum one for each lap.
* there are 2 shortcuts : first one you need to use a boost to jump and fly in the air nearly from one checkpoint to another and the other one is when you are on the floor you need to go left instead of following the track.
* 1st shortcut is a hard one, second is easy.
* another one : while in the air, you can't accelerate, so try to keep your car on the ground whenever you can.
BTW, the patch is in the hands of the microsoft guys, so it will be released soon, and it will allow the few people that have problems after upgrading from the demo version to the full version to play normally (sorry for not seeing this bug first, but it happens only in some rare occasions).
