Summary
In this installment, the Bad Company crew again find themselves in the heart of the action, where they must use every weapon and vehicle at their disposal to survive. In Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the 'B' company fight their way through snowy mountaintops, dense jungles and dusty villages. With a heavy arsenal of deadly weapons and a slew of vehicles to aid them, the crew set off on their mission and they are ready to blow up, shoot down, blast through, wipe out and utterly destroy anything that gets in their way. The online MP demo is out. Has anyone tried it yet? I played 5 minutes and from what I played it's ok. MW2 is still king, by far! I'll rent this game just like I did the last one.

I played the demo and really really thought it was poor as piss!! I've cancelled my Pre-Order too since it isn't a patch on Modern Warfare 2 (which I'm still playing by the way - first CoD aint got bored of by mid January LOL)

This multiplayer wise is just no different or no better than the last one...graphically vile...

It just seemed very choppy when I was playing. And I was getting sniped my the same person every respawn. Maybe it was lag, maybe it was just the demo (maybe both). Anyway... I'm still playing MW2 online... just waiting for new maps to drop. (-:

Well, my brother rented this and game and gave it to me for a day to try out. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed it. I only played online. It's just different. I'm still a COD fanboy to the bone, however this game definitely has a fun factor to it. I like how they have a hardcore mode (like COD). I will say this.... there are a lot of snipers, so it can be frustrating at times if you just running out in the open. The maps are just huge!!! Vehicles and equipment upgrades add to the fun. I'm hoping to rent or buy this (at a discount) at some point.

I was going to get this when its reduced too - but the EA DICE team are also working on Medal of Honour which is aiming to be better than this and Call of Duty...

So I am giving this a miss full stop and gonna get Medal of Honour on release day. The old MoH games were huge before CoD took over so I am mega interested in their first Modern Day setting.... hoping for a demo too.

It's coming out this Autumn, so I reckon it'll be out October so as not to conflict with Halo Reach & Call of Duty.

Halo Reach (September)
MoH (I predict October)
Call of Duty 7 (November)

I wouldn't bother... save up for 'Medal of Honour' since EA DICE are also at work on that, it'll be newer, truly modern warfare aimed at beating the success of this... - also shouldn't you be on Stat' Sick Pay ?

Well I gave in and bought this today...

Campaign - totally brilliant...love it - a lot...

Multiplayer - same old same old battlefield - no real change in maps both play wise & graphically from Battlefield Modern Combat 2, it's fun and plays different to CoD but doesn't 'wow' me in the same way CoD does...but it's enjoyable.

Also exactly how many maps did this have to play online at launch - must be two or three max!!! ? This game doesn't have very many to play now and anyone buying this used is paying 2400 MS Points for 4 Maps already on the disc - I bet every Map Pack for this is already on the disc, no wonder it has to be free in the future otherwise the uproar of just paying to unlock would kill this!!

Glad I bought this for the campaign alone, but multiplayer I can take it or leave it.

Oh I just noticed this... bad people lol... well Statutory Sick Pay that you are entitled to at the rate of over £74 per week divided by your usual working hours - the company you work for claims it off the Inland Revenue by using what you should be paid deducted against what they owe the tax office...

or maybe you meant bad as in cash-in-hand work, then yeah they cant pay you that or claim in back themselves...
