I have gone back to ME and I think I did pretty much every side mission possible because I lost my gamesaves when I swapped HDD's! Still wanna get the other achievements and I really want to know what this new DLC will be!

The travel system for ME2 is totally different you have to "pay" for fuel u use and also search the planet for the best landing zone! I am so excited I borrowed a friends iPod touch to play ME: Galaxies, and am tempted to buy Dragon Age for the extra Vehicle...

i was planning on getting dragon age anyway, but i would like to play ME:Galaxies, bit pissed off because i can't afford a iphone, but i only want to play it for the extras in ME2....=/

I also started a new game today, I'm getting right back into it, but still feel the planets that arn't involved in the main story are all shit. could do with that extra DLC ive been told will be out before ME2, although i never played the first piece.

You've not missed out on a lot with the Bring Down The Sky dlc, think it took all of 45 mins to thoroughly explore and finish.

But it did introduce a new race that Bartarians who feature mainly in ME: Galaxy and probably ME:2!

Here is an interview with Casey Hudson from PC World.com I am wetting myself over this, any issues with Planets and inventory has been addressed mainly focused on the 3rd and 4th section but its a great read!

yeah that was great read, I hope the choices from the first game all have a massive impact like they say. Im doing a secong play through now, so that i can see the diffrences in mass effect 2. I'm purposley trying to do things diffrently in this save file.

So ive been lookin on the new games on demand thingy and saw this game. Now they got it priced there for 19.99$ but I was sure I could get it cheaper. Well got it at lunch for 14.99$ and gave it alittle test run when I stopped by the house. Humm..I hadnt played this before, and heard it was pretty good but I just wasnt feelin it what little I played. Was I wrong when I thought it was free roaming or is that available somewhere down the road in the game? I dunno yet about this Ill give it some time again after work today.

yeah the free roam comes later on.The games on demand prices are stupid, it's £20 on xblm and £10 in most of the shops in town. if you blast through the citeadal part you can free roam the galaxy, but you can go back and do the sidequest.

Games on Demand is an absolute shit feature, if the games were priced at an equivalent to 1600 MS Points rather than 2100 then it's more worthy...

Anyone that can't be arsed to simply go to a shop and buy a game doesn't really deserve a game in the first place, the only time i see this feature being worth while is if they start bringing games out on release, meaning people will be able to start downloading the game at midnight, depending on their net speeds will have it before shops open. Apart from that... Well it's just a pure waste of time IMO

Oh I agree. Cod2 for 30$??? Really, just get up off yer ass and get it for 15$ or maybe even cheaper. Its just a convenience fee, see the DNR here in Ga has those to. Now the only way you can get your fishing license is online, and then they charge ya a 5$ extra convenience fee. Anyway back to this game, I found out how to turn that stupid ass movie blur effect off and now really like the graphics. Gettin deeper in the game seems to be pretty good.

I can't get enough of ME2 right now, was slightly worried that it might not live upto expectations after my love affair with the first game but it has not disappointed at all. I can even forgive the mind numbing planet scanning.

Getting to the stage now though where I don't have a lot else to do other than use the Omega relay, I don't want to end yet!

I'm with you on that one 46Matt. I'm an enternal struggle to hold off on blitzing through the story, concentrating on taking my time and enjoying the experience as much as possible.

Definately a victim of my "10-more-minutes" syndrome.

Hmm... I think when it comes to Mass Effect it becomes a matter of "one more hour" over ten minutes

Yeah I'm really trying to explore every possible thing, no doubt I'll play it through a second time, maybe a third like the first game, but I want to experience it all first time round.

I was liking Jack, was an interesting storyline, but she's no longer loyal to me after I chose to back up Miranda, and I don't have a high enough paragon or renegade rating to make her loyal again. Even women in video games are hard work.

Tattoos don't do anything for me to be honest.

Finished the game last night. Disappointed that it's finished but at least some other games can get some attention now. Think I'm going to wait a while and see what dlc comes out before going for another playthrough though.

Thinking about it, I never actually finished Mass Effect. I'm not sure I even have the game anymore. Shame on me!
