I have been keeping an eye on Split/Second since it was first announced. I was impressed from the original trailer and can't wait for it to come out. May 18th can't come quick enough

Oh yeah, I also have an extra code for the Blur beta if anyone didn't manage to get one. It's the 16 digit code for the Blur website though so you'll need to sign up there to get the xbox code.

The excellently priced brand new James Bond 007 Quantum of Solace for £7.99 arrived today... put it in quickly since have an interview with Santander today - and so far I am impressed with the campaign. It is like a newer Goldeneye !!

It is well worth it, I had missed out on this game when it was first released, but its fun, not quite like CoD4 to look at (since it uses the same engine) CoD4 is graphically better - but I am impressed.

And it was cheap!!

Did he give you the code? The Blur Beta is fun, I wouldnt say impressive, but just fun and something different from a racing game. I am getting this when it comes out on retail, since it reminds me a little of NFS: Carbon, & PGR3 in places - and posting stats info on twitter is good!!

All is well, briefly played a few rounds of MW2 with A46MATT, at the moment switching between these forums and xbox.com forums, helping people out... 1 of the duties of being an Xbox Live Ambassador...

Deciding on whether to eat Cake or just opt for the Yoghurt...

Tried Blur tonight. It's like a cross between Mario Kart (powerups) and Burnout (arcadey racing). Kinda works, it's kinda fun. Not really my type of game though.

I hope that they do something on the handling though before release, even just sorting out the handbrake would be good.

This could have been the thread to ask if any xboxic are covering GDC - answer is no, any decent recent news will be posted, but no dedicated GDC 10 coverage. For E3 10, there will as much as we can though...

Got more Blur beta codes if anyone still doesn't have one. Although I take it everyone else who signed up has been emailed more as well?

I am playing TigerWoods 10 for the first time months - for some reason a JobCentrePlus advert pops up on the screen before, during & after every shot. You can't turn it off either it is really annoying!!

If I am paying to play online - why do I need to see adverts!!!!

The ad's are in both Single & Multiplayer when connected to Xbox Live.

It is a nuisance, believe me - when they force you to look at ads, should at least be able to turn it off once you've seen it once or twice, but this is the same ad over & over again with everything I do...

I've just pre-ordered TigerWoods 11, Im now expecting bigger & possibly more adverts
