NBC and BigPoint announced a new Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) today based off of the science fiction television show Battlestar Galactica. The game will debut on syfy.com for the first 30 days, and will be an in browser game using 3D graphics.
Players will be able to choose to play as cylons or humans in a constant struggle to control the universe or just survive its perils. A blend of tactical space combat, exploration, and mission-based gameplay will provide a diverse experience. The missions will define the game's overall storyline, enabling the player to delve into mysteries of the Battlestar universe. Assets from the television production will be integrated into the game to deliver an even more authentic experience. Battlestar Galactica is being developed by Artplant, and is scheduled to be released this fall. ![]() Looks somewhat interesting, considering I loved this show as a kid but I haven't really watched the new show. So who knows, something to keep an eye on. Source: Press Release Last edited by wade.hinkle; March 11th, 2010 at 04:14. Reason: source addition |

Why not link to where your original press release came from? Then you'd basically be writing an article that isn't on the FP.

I am not quite sure what you are saying here, what difference does it make whether I link the press release. since its in a forum not an actual article, I didn't think it needed a link.
