Call of Duty: Black Ops

For the first time since Call of Duty 4 - I have been able to start & Christen a Call of Duty thread. I am already very excited about the next Treyarch Call of Duty, very interested if it is indeed Vietnam 'Call of Duty: The Cold War' and I am hoping for an all new improved Zombie Mode.

What I dont want:

Care Packages
Tactical Insertions
Useless Accolades
Crappy Titles
Nukes
Akimbo

What I do want:

Spin off Zombie Campaign
More Killstreak Rewards
Emblems
A Real Co-op Campaign, not random campaign chapters
A Beta
A Limited Edition
To play WWII in London

When the game is named and fully announced, after I have wet my pants I will rename the thread... Any CoD 8 threads before 2011 will be deleted!

I agree 100% with all this. Especially the zombie mode man I loved that!

I didn't love it until Map Pack 2 when the hounds came along, but got hooked into it pretty quickly.

I also like controlling vehicles in CoD Games, so although there isn't really a place or space for them in MW2 - Treyarch for me have always made better Maps and often larger Maps.

If they make somesort of throw-back map pack, I would love some CoD3 Maps brought up to date a little for Bonus Maps - Eder Dam, & Mayenne were great...

Realised that when CoD7 gets a huge reveal and magazine pages will be leaked out all over the place...(possibly Left, Right, Middle, Off even? )

Im going to be in Spain on May 16th, Portugal May 19th, France May 21st so will miss this!!! and I'm going to be thinking about it I expect now throughout my holiday...

Im trying to sort out a trip from Portugal to Greece, stopping off at Southern France & Italy inbetween from end of May - but it's looking doubtful... If by magic I can actaully make it happen, I wont be back until mid-June...at the moment unlikely, but doing my best to try!

Really looking forward to this, but the whole zombie thing I am getting a bit tired of. There are too many games out there with this in it.

yea, I could care less about Zombies in COD games. If I want to wipe out the Zombie apocalypse I will play Left 4 Dead or Left 4 Dead 2!

On the topic of COD, check out this fan made vid.
Its actually pretty good. The next chapter looks quite good if they were to actually make it.

Unfortunately, zombies are still very popular. (i.e. Left 4 Dead)

While Nazi zombies were a bit of a stretch, adding them into any game at this point is not a risk at all... but I don't necessarily see Treyarch doing the same thing twice.

I liked the Nazi zombie mode on World at War, really had to be played with friends to get the most out of it though.

Yeah the gameplay trailer is being shown from Midnight US Time tonight on Spike TV. I was told the name this morning, even put an item in the news queue - but because I didn't trust it all that much to be Black Ops (as we already posted that info ages ago) I left it... Also I noticed I couldn't delete it from news queue so I had to click I had already written it to get it to not show active in the list.

Yay for Black Ops... now we know the leaked info I reported ages ago is likely to be all true

Im considering staying up - but it will be 5.30am UK time & 6.30am Other EU time (I think, because it's being shown 12.30am in the US)

The first website to post it on N4G will rake in 1000,'s of readers...

Unfortunately probably not - if I am around and no one else is here I will do it, not sure if Wade is doing it because he may be online the exact same time, it's just gone Midnight for him?

It is going on GameTrailers the same time the show goes out, and at 12.30am Treyarch will make the trailer live on the callofduty.com site too...

It'll need an age gate though I bet...

Youtube should have that as an option shouldnt they really during the upload process, tick a box if you require an age gate on this video...

I did the same thing for Modern Warfare 2 - you know, I'm gonna stay up for this - there's no way I can go to bed knowing the other half of the gaming world have their eyes all over it !!

LOL - actually I can't stay up for it - just seen the countdown timer on GameTrailers it is over 6hrs away - so that's 8.30am UK time, 9.30am other EU time...

Whoever does this, please do it proud

Hmm, that countdown on GT might be wrong.
