Super excited about new maps. And we get them right before our Comm play date on XBL! How awesome is that???! I will be downloading these as soon as they land.

Just been reading various articles about the pricing (1200 MS Points) and everyone seems pissed off by it.

Now surely these people weren't expecting it to be anything less than 1200, surely? I already had in my mind I was prepared to pay 1200, yet many, many people apparently expected them to hit for 800? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure CoD 4 shipped four maps for the same price?

I would be happy if the current maps were rotated a bit more. I literally haven't played any type of game on Terminal this year, only seen Rust once since I've had the game and very rarely Derail.

People might be pissed off with it but they'll still buy it. Honestly I think they could charge 2000 points and it would still sell loads due to sheer popularity.

Well I'll correct myself, four maps for CoD 4 actually did cost 800 Points. I now feel this new pricing is an OUTRAGE!

It's still £2/$3 a map for all five. I won't be losing any sleep over it.

Well I kinda thought they would be 1200 the minute I heard there was 5 Maps. I am not bothered about pricing, so long as the glitches are patched (so far so good) because otherwise its content I can't get to enjoy as I should... but its disappointing that 'Bonus Maps' have died!! Cod 2, CoD3 & even World at War had Bonus Free Maps! The CoD4 ones should be separate & Bonus Maps, with 3 new MW2 Maps being 800 MS Points...

But I can't not have them, I try all the time to imagine myself if I didnt buy them - its unthinkable.

HAHAHA...yall are suckered in once again! I am STILL not buying these maps, matter of fact after the playdate this damn game is goin back to the store for credit! Im sooo sick of ppl defending this game like its a breakthrough of some sort! Its nothin but a glitch filled mess and once again..that nuke is so fuckin annoying whos the dumb ass that decided to put that in there!? Lol..I always plug my hate for this game somewhere on here huh? Sad part is I loved the Dutys before this.

I could always see how long I last without buying them I guess... haha - but I think Splinter Cell Conviction is going to keep me busy from April onwards so... mmm I may actually not...

Youll end up buyin em just to jay haha! But hell thats aigt i buy ncaa football every year even though its the same damn game as the previous 4 years. My game to get me through april and onward and a reason I was gonna drop this game completly was red dead redemption but the bastards have delayed that till may!

I don't consider myself being sucked in. I enjoy the games and I'll likely enjoy the maps. All the glitching is gone now as far as I can see. I also like all the new perks, including the Nuke!

I'm with you Ross. I still very much enjoy this game. I'm looking forward to the new maps.... and then the play date.

I'm planning on playing tonight between 7-10pm EDT. UK is currently 4 hours ahead of me until they(you) do their daylight savings change, then it will be back to 5 hours ahead. Maybe the UK time changes already?? I didn't think so though. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

I see you've just started playing Call of Duty 3, when that first came out it was that game that totally got me hooked into the Call of Duty franchise. I had played the first 2 briefly - but CoD3 I just couldn't put it down.

I very recently had a go online and noticed there are tons of capture the flag boosters everywhere...but was a great game online in its day!

I got quite a bit of MW in over the weekend. I'm close to getting blue tiger camo for my M16 and Mp5. I can't stay with one setup though. I have ADD when it comes to weapon selection. I was in a snipping mode for awhile but started to struggle and gave up. What is everyone recommendation for sniper layout (attachments, perks, etc?).

I've been the complete opposite and have had to ween myself off of the Famas and have now moved onto the SCAR. Nearly got to fall camo for the Famas though.

As for sniper I have no idea, tried it a few times but I do better with a scope attachment on an assault rifle.

Same here - I just have no idea since my in game methods are to run around and get right in everyones face. Sniping requires too much patience!

I have the Fall Camo on a few weapons now, it is not as nice as the CoD4 Gold Camo though.

When i snipe, i use the intervention, slight of hand pro for quicker aim is MEGA important to sniping IMO, Cold blooded pro, ninja pro and a tactical insert. Not that i actually snipe much anymore. Plus if you're not playing hardcore you'll need FMJ on your rifle, or stopping power, maybe both.

I saw it on the US Dashboard through USA JAY gamertag, but I didnt see it on the UK Dashboard anywhere yet!

I love the look of the bigger map where they said that all the buildings interlink, you can run through the whole map without even stepping foot outside! - Loved it... I was like did the voiceover guy just say "Outerior"?

Also liked that little map with all the corners, and snow - that they said looked gritty.

I also know through another interview that the CoD4 Maps have apparently had some graphical enhancements, just a few visual touches to sit right with the rest of the MW2 Maps so they fit in with the style.

Yeah... We do NOT promote modding, glitching, boosting... Generally anything that will get you banned from Live. Modders and cheaters are one of the worst things on Xbox Live and i for one can't wait for the next banning wave to get rid of a load more people who can't play games properly on an equal fairness level as everyone else, cause they fail at games without cheating.

I don't think anyone here will be joining your lobby, or give you anything.
