3 Red lights, dying

Yesterday my 360 "died"with the 3 red lights error. I called support and have to send it from here with ups to Frankfurt (here is the netherlands) It would take 3 weeks.

Is there a reason why the 360's die that much? I had a release console (preorderd) and I wanted to turn it on yesterday and instantly 3 red lights. Tried to recconect all cabels but that wouldnt help --> call support

But still is there a good reason why they die that much? I know someone who has his third console

. ....

. Good luck with that 360, dunno if there's one apparent reason. I'd say rushed hardware but I could be wrong.

I did that, checked all cabels to. :p I called support and it is send to frankfurt already.... Hope it gets back within the time....

Or else the vacation gets a little bit boring. On my crappie PC I only play Guildwars. But I just bought viva pinata, Gears and call of duty 3

And I dont own all singelplayer achiefs of Gears (multiplay suxs and not only because of the join match problems, but coop is Realy Cool and single play, but it can not own halo 2 in a mile because of the multiplay) and Call of duty I must finish on Veteran and the multi player is fun (only the join ranked match thing is crapie but the game is more fun than gears).

And of course my garden needs watering soon or else the plants die and the pinatas eat each other for food

Maybe try calling again in case they have forgotten or maybe they can give you a tracking number so that the post man doesnt end up playing a new 360!

Ya I got the trackingnumber, but it still says it only has been delivered in Frankfurt.

But it doens matter anymore

When I got home the nice post man had delivered a package for me

(scratshes on back are gone from carrying it to LAN partys.)

, is it possible that this new one is more silently? Because I tought it maked more noise (like a helicopter taking off ground). And the controler wifi little button is in a different place a few more centimeter to the left from the USB (I keep mis pressing the button when I try to sync the controllers)

Maybe because the cooling fan was faulty in the other one that this one seems less noisy , maybe try to keep it in an open space so it wont get too hot again this time .

I send mine back on the 18th, it arrived on the 19th there. I jsut got it back 29th. Ten days is not bad. plus about 4 days which weren't working days. Got a september 2006 version Hope this one won't have any problems.

I received my 4th yesterday, got a new refurb every time (but this time a new one prolly, manufactured end of October 2006). And I always got mine back within a few days, but the 3rd time they send a new one before taking in the old one

I was thinking about sending mine in early next year 'cos it often makes too much noise (in Gears it often makes a very loud buzzing sound) and I've had the 3 red lights a few times but if I can put up with it I'll have to wait for the improved 360's

Shame the new 360 CPU's have supposedly been moved back to summer 07
