Default Best and Worst XBL gaming experiences

What have been your best and worst gaming experiences while using XBL?

I personally love Rainbow Six Vegas but there are some complete wankers on some times, maybe its because I tend to do player matches not ranked matches, but I was kicked out of some game by some complete cunt host because I didn't commit suicide when there were only 9 terrorists left, I would definitely consider this to be the best game that I have played on XBL but in terms of who you play for me it is one of the worst games, because other knob-heads always try to tell you what to do and say retarded things like "your gonna die" when there are almost all enemies left because other retards die instantaneously and leave you trapped because they don't use tactics at all and then when the inevitable happens they say "told you so"
Another inevitable thing that pisses me off is when you do cooperative and gay little kids that are in clans just kill you and start humping your corpse (although only happened to me once)

Sorry about that rant but please let me know if you have had any similar experiences with annoying little fucks ---We want gamertags too if possible--- or even the best matches you've had online

Edit - I'm off to play RS:V hope my connection doesn't die and there aren't too many brain dead fuckwits on, catch you guys later

Personally, I've had good times with Gears (ranked games). True that sometimes you can be on the team that doesn't talk much but most of the time people on your team always co-operate and make strategies on how to approach your opponents.

My best online play is always Call of Duty 3 - Everybody has to work as a team. Medics need to revive, Support need to supply ammo...blah blah...

My worst is always GEARS. I just hate it ! to me it seems pointless to wonder around a map for less than 20 seconds before getting killed each time. Boring and pointless.

Yeah you seem to really like COD3 ive had it since launch but only played it for like 2 hours offline mp and sp, from what ive played though I much prefer COD2, I like PES6 online but hate it when its really laggy and people usually quit when there 3-0 down which is annoying, ive only really played fight night also live which was ok but I prefer other games.
Another annoying aspect online is when headsets fuck up and echo mine did it for a while but doesn't seem too anymore, I always thought it would be worse for those listening but I find its much worse for the person talking

Halo 2 = BEST online, even with the twats that smacktalk (I find it funny) I still love it.

The worst = Burnout. The races were mint, but finding one on the shitty EA servers did my tree in.

The best time I have had online so far was between doing Insae mode on Co op with one of my mates and taking about 2 hours to kill RAMM or playing Phantasy star universe online when I find a nice group to play with and get deep into the missions together rather than killing each other.

the worst definetly has to be leaving my 360 installing Final Fantasy XI and then more 3 or 4 hours registering for the game so I go online and all I find are perverts or people who wouldnt play with me.

lol you just found a load of perverts, I bought that and got annoyed killing sheep for 3 days and taking ages to type sentences using the controller didn't find any perverts though, suppose it comes with the territory for MMORPG's

My best experience is playing Rainbow Six vegas online. I've not really come across many know-it-all little pricks playing that game so I suppose Ive been lucky.

I also love playing Gears of War online but only against friends. (I mean actual real life friends not just people on my friends list that Ive never seen).

My worst experiences online are definately in Gears of War when playing ranked matches especially. Its full of complete WANKERS. They think they own the world because they can kill a few people on a computer game.
No offence to nice American people but all these wankers I'm so lucky enough to play against all come from your country. I so much prefer playing against English people who you can actually have a normal conversation with.

I was playing Gears the other day and some guy on my team saw me headshot someone with the longshot and he was like "YO DAWG THAT SHIT WAS SO PIMPIN. YOU IS THE SHIZZLE". Even though he was on my team I politely told him to shut the fuck up and speak properly or I'd take his head off with the longshot too and stuff a dictionary into his gaping neck. He didnt speak from then on in so my work was done.

Very funny!!
GEARS ranked is awful - I just can't stand it. Last time I was on I kept getting shouted at that I was a disgrace and I should leave the match. I was like- how the fuck do you call this a match. The game starts with one team down the bottom, another team at the top less than 5 seconds away from each other. Its just about who's left with their head on in 30 seconds. Theres no real thinking, strategy or logic to that mode. I like Co-op mode tho...

The funniest thing I ever heard someone say online was probably yesterday when some spice boy said to his friend "Don't be such a fag and get a scooter" lol, if someone in my school said that when I was growing up they would have had the shit kicked out of them

It also really pisses me off in PES6 when some Fuck witted cunt keeps watching replays, like some twat who I played yesterday who kept fouling me, then watched the replay of his second goal the full three times and then zoomed into my keeper and kept making the replay run normally then backwards so that it looked like he was dancing, which took I'm guessing over 2 minutes, i wouldn't care but he was winning anyway.

Dont take this the wrong way Scrud but that just made me laugh quite a lot, I never heard anything like that but for this kid on Splinter Cell 2 Co-Op but his over excitedeness wasnt that annoying.

No I don't mind, after all I laugh at a lot of similar stories when others tell them about what pissed them off like the comment above the "Yo Dawg" one, I found that hilarious but Ive lately just been in matches with lots of really annoying shits so I thought I would start this thread

BTW thanks for the responses guys

around 12 - 3 pm EST (east coast US) there are really cool people playing gears. i was playing with this guy named "LordBeefNBarrel", apparently it's the name of a pub wherever he lived in england (he had just moved to the US with his wife). he was fucking hilarious and pretty good at the game too. i've noticed that the later it gets (my time), the more idiots get on XBL. i prefer to play in the early afternoon because of this.

Nominee for worst: As I was playing Player matches in GRAW2 to get some coop campaign action in, we got a teamkiller on board. Who waited until we'd gotten a bit before he shot down the team in the back too.

Hang the bastards :/

Yeah you'd think with co-op modes they'd make it so team killing wasn't possible...fine in match modes, but co-op no! because I think I've heard some one mention it happen in Rainbow 6 Vegas

Well it's all a part of realism of course. Mind your fire, and don't run into eachother's LoS. But the bitching team killers... yeah screw them.

I came across a team killer last night on GRAW2, He'd just hang around near our spawn area and kill us all as we tried to run off, there was no way to get away without him killing us. He then went on to say in the lobby that he thought it was a solo elimination match but for someone to think that when all his team mates are shouting at him telling him to stop killing his own team is ridiculous.

Anyway he got negative feedback from everyone in the lobby including the other team.

Has anyone played the 'nowhere' map yet? I downloaded it but I'm finding it difficult to get into a game where the host uses this map. I know its the same as in the original GRAW but that level was good.

I should host my own games really but I dont do waiting around =)

To be honest I think team killing should be detectable and punishable. Third team kill in a match = boot and disconnect from Xbox Live for 30 minutes. Teach the bastards.

I agree, I actually thought to myself that this guy would be auto booted after 3 or 5 kills but that didnt happen. I just dont understand the logic of a team killer.

Wow Curry those fuck wits really got to you, I never seen you so adamant or pissed of in your posts before, but I thought that GR:AW might of had this feature I thought I heard it was being implemented on some 360 game (prob just peoples requests on live tho... )

But I didn't think it would of been that big of issue, it only happened to me once on RS:V anyways, maybe its the type of matches you play i.e. ranked or player matches attracting different amounts of team killing tossers, or maybe it will happen less in a few weeks/ months as less people regularly play it.

Oh and BTW can anyone tell me if you can unlock new items online and rank up on this like on RS:V, thanks in advance and thanks for the responses guys.

I know you can rank up in Ranked matches using the military badge system similar to Vegas just not in player matches.

Do you know what items/equipment can be unlocked?

I'm tempted to buy this but didn't like the sp demo, but don't mind the mp demo, and hated the way on previous games if you played split screen you could never see your gun only crosshairs, but if there is good stuff to unlock I might buy it once I go up to my next rank in RS (to captain) and get my d. eagle but wish you could unlock twin d.eagles

I'm not 100% sure if you can unlock new items and weapons, to be honest I dont think you can apart from the special items you get if you own RB6v and Splinter Cell DA.
