So I wasn't sure if there was a movies thread, but if there is someone can add this to it.

Anyways, Ive been wanting to start a movie thread about movies and whats good and if any newer movies seem good. I;m tired so this post consists of bad writing right now. BUt anyways I realized I wanted to do this because I just finished seeing the movie 300 in IMAX and it was amazing. By far the best movie I have seen in the longest time. It was perfect in nearly every way. So I was curious if anyone else has seen it and what their thoughts were.

And also if any new movies in theatres are good. Im going to give Borat a play tonight with some friends so hopefully it's good.

I just watched SAW3 Extreme Edition, not much (if any) change from when I saw it at the cinema, but still a great film. 300 isn't out in the UK yet, so I can't comment on that.

You're gonna love Borat, everybody does lol. As for 300, it isn't out yet in Belgium but if the trailers are anything to go by, it looks like it might dethrone The Lord of the Rings and become my favourite epic movie

I saw 300 opening night and I thought it was the best movie I had seen in a long time. A lot of great action and gore. All fo the theaters in the Twin Cities sold out. If it comes out on HD-DVD, I will be buying it.

Has anyone seen Ghost Rider? I hate Nicholas Cage, but I heard it wasn't too bad.

Gonna see An Inconvenient Truth tonight, saw The Departed recently (great movie), The Prestige was great too.

I was thinking about that yeah but because they didn't really explain the whole thing that well, I was kinda unsure what was going on. The fact that I finished watching it around 4am probably had something to do with it too

I thought the Prestige was better than the Illusionist if anyone saw that. It was desent and I thought the end of The Prestige finally made the movie come together. The Departed was great. I was very impressed with Leonardo Dicaprios acting.

I just watched Tenacious D : The Pick of Destiny and I didn't think it was very good. Couple parts were okay but I was overall dissapointed.

And I saw Ghost Rider and enjoyed it quite a bit. In my opinion you will like it if you liked Daredevil. Made by the same director. NIck Cage fit the persona fairly well and if you don't like Nic Cage than it works well cause he is ghost Rider for a good part of the movie and ghost rider is a different character.

Agreed, those were amazing twists. Hopefully, the sequel will be just as good and will clear up that unexpected ending of the first one

Went to see Wild Hogs over the weekend. That movie was great. very funny. I am going to see 300 on Thursday. Last night I watched a classic movie on HD-DVD; John Carpenter's The Thing.

Oh shoot I confess that when it comes to movies I dont go that often. Considering the last movie I watched was that Bond movie and just because my mate came to stay for a few days and dragged me to the cinema.

I like horror movies the most out of the whole genres.

Departed on DVD was a great movie, I was screaming 'What the Fuck!' at the ending twist.

Borat - Brought the DVD gift set, which apparently sold out (my friend wanted to buy it too).

300 - Oh Damn, Beyond words. Amazing, followed the original comic version to the letter! ... Well except for the spartans being nude... and the movie added on some things that weren't in the comic, so basically the movie took off from the comic and added on some of it's own.

Reno 911 was okay, like a two hour version of the show on Comedy Central.

Waiting for Spider-man 3, did anyone see the trailer before 300 started?

easily the worst movie i have seen in a while, my dad took my whole family to see it for his birthday. i wanted to choke myself on the popcorn.

I did enjoy Dare Devil, so I might have to go see it.

Its very rare I go to the theatre, I ussually wait and pirate it later. BUt I will be seeing 2 movies for sure this summer:

Spidey 3 and Aqua Teen Hunger Force the Movie. Its gonna rock the socks off of everyone!

I wanted to see that, but I never got the chance, and I want to know if it's any good.
300 was a good movie, one of my faves. Although it didn't go to well with critics....

I've seen Lucky Number Slevin. Great movie, well worth the watch. If you liked Ocean's 11 or 12, you should like this one too. Be sure you're fully awake when you watch it because you have to follow everything closely in order to get what's going on

i saw macbeth by roman whatisname and it was the est film ever even though its quite old highly recommened no seriously
