I want to download the King Kong demo but can't see it on the Live Marketplace. Currently I've only Silver membership. Do I have to have Gold membership to download it???

After Microsoft found out it was too buggy they removed it from the marketplace (only after a couple of hours after it's release).

thanx guyz...
as microsoft says some services or features, other than online games playing, on xbox live are exclusive for Gold Members..that's why i thought maybe this demo is only for Gold members!! i hope they fix it soon and put it back on live marketplace!

From what I believe, Silver can do everything that Gold can do, except play multiplayer online, and take part in Tournements and such.
But, still - You need gold! And as for King-Kong, it's an OK game, me - I give it 7.0/10 (Thats only because you can play as Kong) |

I have a quick question. I made a silver account for my roommate on my 360, now last night he went and finally bought one for himself. Now here is the problem when he try's to sign in it automatically signs me out I was thinking since he is on my XBL gold account, would he need to make a new gamer tag or can I just take him off my account.
I have got to get him online so he will stop playn my 360 until 5:00 am every night. Or could someone give me the xbox customer service # I cant pull up xbox.com here at work. Last edited by Ponder416; April 19th, 2006 at 17:06. |

I assume you want the American number, not the Canadian or British one? Last edited by TRIGGER M4N; April 19th, 2006 at 17:37. |

Okay I need MORE help, does anybody know someone who has two 360 in the same house and play them online? Xbox told me it might be possible, but my router manufacturer said it was impossible because we are using the same IP.

Now, that is bulls***
You can play with more than 1 X360 connected to the same router, all you need is more RJ-45's. Plug them in, away you go. Infact we play with 3 hooked up. This is of course, if your router has more than one RJ-45 socket, and if you have more than one Gamertag. Anymore help Ponder? Last edited by TRIGGER M4N; April 20th, 2006 at 16:30. |

I would have setup your wireless network for half of that cost.

No shit you’re in Jackson? “It’s a small world after all” That’s cool. When I get home I’m going to send you a friend’s request.
I got the wireless for my Xbox but my roommate doesn’t. I was wondering if I used wireless and he went wired would that make a difference. |

No that should not make any difference. Your router acts as a dhcp server and should assign a different IP address to each of the xboxes. It does not make a difference how they physically connect. By the way... you say Xbox support told you to increase the MTU size... thats BS. Your router should default to the max MTU. You seem to be getting the first level support guys that don't know what they are doing and are just trying to tell you something to get off the phone.

Thats what Ive been think the hole time. Everytime I talk to someone be it from Xbox or Linksys they always tell me different stories.
After an hour of tryn to change the MTU size I finally realized it was at its max setting. (1500) Think I'm going with the Linksys: WRT54GS v2. Last edited by Ponder416; April 20th, 2006 at 18:19. |

The Linksys should be fine
![]() As for the "multiple Xboxes per IP", they do have a small point in saying "it's not possible". Ofcourse you can have multiple boxes on the same IP via a router, but only one of them can have open NAT configured through port forwarding. The other ones will have limited online play capacities because of this: you won't be able to connect to games hosted by people with strict or moderate NAT. |
