Starter kit xbox

Does any one know if you can use a starterkit for the original xbox to upgrade your gold membership?

Should be fine, the starter kit just contains a prepaid code which you can also enter in your 360 guide. Prepaid = prepaid

I hope it works because i saw a starterkit today for only €29,95 with a year xbox live.
I think i'll take the risk.

No this won't work... it only works on the old xbox. The same goes for bundled games like Splinter Cell combined with ... months Xbox Live.

If you plan on doing that, you'd better create a Xbox Live account first, apply the codes, then convert it to a Xbox 360 Live account, that should work fine
