DOA4 is awesome!

I really enjoy DOA 4 and anyone who doesn't like it just doesn't have the patience to bare the learning curve. And the addition of the Spartan is just classic!

I cursed the game a lot when I just had it, but I just kept reminding myself the last fighter I'd played to any degree was Streetfighter II on the SNES

And yes, DoA4 respects the old adagium: practice makes perfect. Not like some other 'classic' games where anyone who can spam a trigger can 'win', DoA4 takes true practice.

But Alpha is still frustrating

Yeah it's good. Gave it an 8,8 out of 10, so yeah, I've seen worse Xbox 360 games (like Quake 4 or Ridge Racer 6).

I've heared SO many good things about that game that I might buy it when I got some money. But to be honest there are 2 games that I probably buy before DOA4... Fight Night is one and I'm awaiting Ghost Recon too. We'll see how the cards play out.

I hate the fact that Spartan is in the game. It makes DOA4 seem desperate, to find something new about the game. Only thing good about seeing Spartan is that,we get a glimpse of what Halo3 might look like... And yeah, the game is great, the game is very easy, and it is easy to win. I am a grade A in the "DOA Online".

I also am an A ranked player, but I realize I have an awful lot of bad rep on that game, just because I beat people, they get wound up, swear then leave me feedback like 'Unsporting Conduct' or 'Overly aggresive' and all I have done is beat them.
