i have been waiting for someone to say something about FEAR for a long time...a while ago i was at circuit city and played the game on one of their computers for about an hour. it was like half life mixed with silent hill, pretty crazy stuff. hopefully they do this port the RIGHT way (cod2) not the wrong way (*cough*quake 4 framerate*cough*) quake 4 is a good game, minus the graphical difficulties. anyway, i would really like to see, as TRIGGER M4N said on the news page, an online co-op mode. that would really make this game great. and some lag-free multiplayer from release, please.

I played this game for pc, only i couldn't get the maximum graphics quality. SO i hope it will be great on xbox 360

Yeah, I thought of that because Condemned had the best one player experience at launch, but no multi-player option. I realized that Monolith was the Developer for Condemned and F.E.A.R, so I thought 'They should implement my idea into F.E.A.R.'

I have no idea if the PC version has any multi-player at all, but it was just a wish-full thought that I hope will come true.

The port shouldn't be too hard for Monolith, but they should take the time to finetune the engine since Condemned had it's ocasional slowdowns. That was not a very big deal because there's not much 'gun-combat' in Condemned, only melee. I'm also curious about what kind of achievements they will put in.

if i remember correctly the pc version had mp but it was very lackluster, thats why i'm hoping for co-op too.

I was asking round today about F.E.A.R, many people seem to agree it is better than Condemned.

Many people Agreed it has a very good multiplayer, it even has the slow-motion (Bullet time) option.

In my experience most people saying that dislike the melee combat in Condemned, while that is the whole idea behind the game. Shooter fans simply shouldn't get Condemned

anyway to get back on topic, i'm hoping it will be a straight port from the pc, not like far cry....i want extremely precise, smooth controls. like cod2.(i think i talk about that game every day.) and since none of you play cod anymore when fear comes out and if its good i can finally play you guys.

Anyone else got that feeling where they release the information that they are making the port, but then never actually tell us what is going on or what changes they've might of made to the game etc, etc...

Really hope this is at E3.

i have the fear demo, it has about the same framerate as condemned, but somewhat plain looking textures, and the controls need some fine tuning. but, it's pretty scary with that damn little girl, and the slo-mo is very cool.

my favorite part of the demo was i walked into a room, and in front was a glass plate window looking into a control panel type room. i shot out the glass, put it in slomo, tossed in 2 grenades, and ducked behind a wall. wiped out all 3 guys inside. fun fun fun.

I played this in Leipzig () and it was pretty ok. The framerate was good but it lacked the amount of particles in the PC version. Don't know about gameplay, didn't play it that long.

Or they have not finished porting it yet?

I'm no PC mumbo-jumbo techno wizkid, but I think the 360 is quite capable of running F.E.A.R. I get my theory from the fact Condemned ran really well on Xbox 360.

I just don't understand. If the 360 is good enough, it should look as good or better. No exceptions. Why does it seem like we always get jipped in the ports? I can understand why for the original Xbox. But not now.

If you're going to port it over, then do it. No half-ass jobs.
