Locked Gamerscore on Live.

OK...

Nobody has yet helped me on this one so started a thread and maybe someone will take notice!

When I unlock achievements my gamerscore goes up on my console just by looking at my gamertag, but everyone on my friends list and on live can only see the current 'LOCKED' gamerscore of 15556

As you can see in the picture my gamerscore should be displaying 15706 as it states 93 games played.

I need someone else to get an achievement and check that the gamerscore on your console matches that to live - so that it's not just me. No one has checked yet and informed me.

It's important because my console could be on the revocation list in the next update - so HEEEEELLLPPP

Hmm, my score is off by 10 I think.

It is normal for the catchup to be a bit slow when you just get an achievement, but mines been stuck for days. For example, your gamercard here will display a score and when you go to xbox live it's higher...cos the little gamercards are a bit behind. But my score isn't updating at all...im gonna have to try and get some more achievements. Someone sent a console message to me saying that it is most likely my GEARS achievements wont register because with the recent maintenance and the GEARS cheaters, any new achievement unlocked is cancelled out. Maybe, just maybe it is that - so I need to do Sonic 2 and find out...

I unlocked a few achievements in bioshock just a minute ago and came here to check for you if my score is updated.. It is.. Looks like it's working fine.
I guess it probably is due to the clitching in Gears. Can't think of another reason why your score shouldn't update.. Strange indeed.

I noticed that you play offline sometimes so that mighthave anything to do with it?

Sorry I did not reply but I honestly had no clue as to what could be happening as I never really notice gamerpoints but for when the pop up comes mate or just when I want to get the ones with funny names.

If I do come across something similar or it happens to me I will be sure to tell you.

Yeah I play offline, I get mobbed online sometimes by UNO invites & at the minute it's a LOT! of other people wanting GEARS help.

but I do go online to load up score, and still nothing. The only place it registers is in the played games area on xbox.com, like in my pic above where it says 15706 of 44695

UPDATE:

Gears achieves cheated do not update on live. You need to get another achievement on another game afterwards to make them register.

I can help you with that Jason because I have something like that too. While yours is for call of duty 2 mine is for Panzer Dragoon Orta so my theory is that it respresents backwards compatible games we play but can only see on our dashboards.

You must have been playing the xbox version of Call of duty 2 I presume by the Big Red subtitle.

Also since your more experienced at this trading Chris do you know if I can exchange a sealed game for another that I paid partly with reward points/store credit and money at GAME? It cost me £38 and I forgot to cancel online copy so have two and GAMe will only refund my money which means I would lose £15 of reward points...

I can help you with that from a legal point and put in simple terms...

1: Regardless of how you paid your purchase was £38
2: You bought it from GAME
3: You should have it sealed and your receipt
4: You WILL be able to just have an exchange for something else £38 and if you can show proof you bought the same game twice from GAME should not even be questionable.

Thanks for trying to help Chris and Jason as it actualy gave me a bit more hope to go back and ask soon.

No it is not Sonic that I bought twice but Super Smash bros brawl because I forgot to cancel pre order online as they were giving out some extra items with it in-store. The prices in-store are terrible though with a difference of £8 so hopefully with exchange it for something else...

Damn right about never giving back Sonic though.

Yeah I was shocked someone put crap in this thread - but even more shocked that since writing it I have only gone up by nearly 10,000 gamerscore compared to Thryons almost a million !
