Housten, We have <I>another</I> problem.

So I haven't been able to connect to Xbox Live for about a week now. My network connection test shows all green, and I brought a year long membership in the summer, but I still can't connect. I don't cheat, I don't hack, or any of that, so there's no need for a banned account either.

Yet my brother, who has an account on my 360, can sign in no problem, but he's got silver membership, and when he tries to redeem his one month, Live won't let him.

I know.

Any suggestions? Thoughts? Opinions?

do the Z test...

network connections, more info & press Y for codes... if Z is NOT 0000 0000 you've been banned - remember even if you haven't a Live membership you should still connect to Live because it just drops to silver.

(playstatic & xboxic are all the same members...)

Oops, hey, I just signed in.

Sorry for wasting space, it's just that I was getting frustrated and I was about to take UK Jay's advice and see if, after doing the test, my code is 0000 0000 or not, and before I was able to click 'Connect to Xbox Live' on the Main Screen, it connected automatically.

So... Crisis averted.

my dashboard is seriously fucked !! - dont load or show anything other than that flashing circles thing... I have to go to the media blade to load up a game.

I have not logged in yet but since the gamercards are not showing here maybe it means it is down for maintainance.

The website server here crashed, Curry posted about it the other day and mentioned he has disabled the gamercards

yeah my mate said dumit about this loads of people were having problems chris mentioned it to me and then it started happening!

what happens to me is i can sign in but as soon as it signs me into im it signs me out also i can't access any blades other than media and system and it signs me out evrey few min

Phew, I'm gald it's not only me then. I mean pity it has to happen at all, but at least I'm not alone in my misery. I haven't turned on my 360 yet for the first time this year so I don't know if I'll still have those problems.

Okay seems the storm has passed. I don't seem to have any more problems, I'm logging on just fine and no effect on my online gaming.

That happened to me after I downloaded the Fall update. I just left it swirling and swirling for ages, it sorted itself out eventually.

It's something doing the rounds...it's weird but the dashboard for me is fine, now it's just Call of Duty 4 that seems a problem.

Yeah and then when I get into a game I get Connection Error messages on screen and then it quits out and says Server Timed Out.
So far it seems I can only play Free For All matches and the game starts with 4 players...boring !!
