the horror (mainly zombies :D ) thread

right im a gamer who likes to get involved in the game and horror games which make me think ohh crap im not getting any sleep 2nite are always great games.

i put this in genral chat cause i didn't want to limit it to one console

there are a few things im intrested in over the coming year

1. obviuosly res5, nuff said
2. left 4 dead, this game which ive seen little for but ive been impressed by what i have say its 4plr online coop game and if im remember correctly it is made by some side vaulve company.
3. dead rising 2, i know not scary at all but includes zombies so WTF i haven't heard much about this(im pretty sure its been announced)
but what i'd like to see in it is coop and maybe a free roam mode right from the start and some sort of survivl where you have to survive waves of zombies
4.alan wake, this game has been on my wanted list since the beggining of 360 even though ive seen very little about it if they get it right it should be a brilliant game
5. dead island, dead rising rip off if i remember right worth a look, undecided cause i haven't seen out about it
6.alone in the dark, ive never played one of these before but apperntly the recent ones have been poor but off what ive seen im looking forward to this, but im still not 100% certin on it

theres one or two more EAs dead space for example but i won't waffle on

anyone else got an oppinions on these games or is there anyone whos still undecided on most like me?

if theres anyone who isn't buying res5, you disgrace us all

Sorry to burst your bubble but Capcom hasn't announced Dead Rising 2 yet. Moreover, a sequel is still being considered.

it dosnt include zombies but it is a horror game so what the hell... you cant forget condemned and part 2 that comes out this year. the barts department store level in condemned freaked me out badly and almost made me wet myself.

Ugh, I loved Dead Rising, I had so much fun with that. I'm letting it sit until I crave playing it again, just for the achievements you know? I'm level 49 now, just one away from an achievement.

Could someone recommend a good thriller/horror game worth my time? (excluding resident evil).

You can't go wrong with Condemned in the xbox and the lights out!

For me the first game that scared me the most and problably still does is Resident Evil code Veronice.

When I started playing that on my dreamcast I would always jump when a zombie dropped out of nowhere. And those bits where you see them knocking on the windows/doors and you know they will break in anytime.

zan ur just full of good news, since when is res5 not coming out this year ive always thought i could be coimng out Q4 just it wasn't likley hav they officaly delayed it it cause i must have missed that and oxm uk mag said quater 4 as well.

condemned was a great horror game and although it wasn't to scary in my oppinion when you turned around a cournour or went back sum where u thought was safe and ur when ur least expecting it sum guy attacks you with a pole.

thats what gamings all about, 2nd is coop isn't it if its not don't let zan burst any more of my bubbles someone else do it

Actually a memo was sent out from head of Xbox Live (or someone that was a head of something at Microsoft) that we didn't write about that said RE 5, along with Alan Wake, would be hitting in 2008.

I'm not saying he KNOWS it's coming, or it's any kind of confirmation, but it COULD happen if Capcom get a shift on.

silent hill has been hit and miss for me personally i liked 1+2 wasn't keen on 3 played the demo of the no 4 and wasn't pleased with it (is that the right order #no 3# ur the lass, and #no 4# ur in the room)

i know there was afew things i left off cause i didn't just want to bore evreyone with a big list but condemned 2, slilent hill and dead space are the 3 main ones i missed off prob one or two more ive missed mby

condemned 2 does look sweet i hope the multiplayer has a good fear factor and hopefully it'll work like the single player with players stalking and scarring each other and coop games i luv so this is prob a must for me

I'll play Condemned 2 purely for the Single player story probably. If there's anything in there only half as scary as Bart's department store, it'll be fucking awesome.

i never finshed it and never got to that part i luved it i just got rid of it when i was short for cash must be relly cheap with jan sales

i got table tennis for £8 and the arcade games disc was the same price which include geo wars which i luv and texas hold em, but i didn't have enough cash on me i wonder if bankshot billards comes with that i know wik:fable of souls is one of the other games

im the sorta of person whos just a team player so coop games i luv, and i hate FFA ive only played 1 FFA game on cod4 (which i won, so 100% record LOL)

im also one of the few gamers that perfers to defend more than offend in team games

Bankshot Billiards is not included. You get Bejeweled 2, Geo Wars, Hardwood Backgammon, Outpost Kaloki X, Texas Hold'em, and Wik.
