EA Confirms Superstar Mode for Madden NFL 07 360

When EA demoed the Xbox 360 version of Madden NFL 07 at last month's E3, fans of the series and avid journalists noticed the absence of the "Create a Superstar" mode, which lets you create a football player and guide his life on and off the field.

After hearing the fans cries, EA has announced that Xbox 360 gamers will get the feature they were asking for. Jon Robinson of IGN Sports, has the scoop:

"Personally, as gamers, this is a mode we didn't want to be without," told producer David Ortiz to IGN Sports. "We had to have it. This is good stuff. So as the on-field stuff started to progress, we knew we could add it in toward the end. We saw the reaction from people hoping it was in there, but we couldn't talk about it yet. We had already started talking about putting it in, and that reaction only encouraged us to try harder and put in the extra hours to get it in. But as gamers on the team, we wanted that Superstar experience if we could pull it off."
