For submitting news you can use our submit form, although we specifically choose not to spend a post on every little picture that makes marketplace. In the case of Chromehounds we have already announced the demo itself, so there's not real need to announce the "lesser" content again

Yea I did'nt see anyone post about the new content that has showed up this morning for US folks so I couldnt use the submit link form. Figured I would join up in the forums and post up. Yes it's definetly "lesser" content but figured it might be a slow friday .

I downloaded the demo and it is AMAZINGLY SHIT.

Yea, the chromehounds demo I was not impressed with at all. I go after most my games for online play, but it is nice when a game has both great single play and multiplay. Yet another slow summer for console games.

Yep, too bad I'm 3/4s addicted and will probably end up buying B titles like Prey.

Maybe he thought it was Brey.. then it would be a B title and could be found under the B in the store

I myself am hoping that the Prey demo will be good enough for me to buy the game. Need a new FPS Fix..

I'm guessing Brey will get a metascore ~ 8.5, and as Cage said, I'm hoping it's good enough to be a purchase.

It's a neat game with good admosphere and decent weapons, but it doesn't seem to bring enough new to the table to stand out.

I know people cant wait for prey and the push backs of the demo are both mind boggling and fustraiting.

I dont think I will get into Prey as much as most people will. The whole portal, wall walking might be a little too puzzle confusing for me. I had to put down Prince of Persia: Warrior because of time warping going on .

I liked the Prey demo. The gravity and portal aspects and the spirit walking are really really cool and well executed and make this game "something new". Graphics are so-so, but I hadn't expected too much from an OpenGL engine in that way anyway. Also, I just have something against the Doom 3 engine, imho it just makes everything a tiny bit too plastic and fake unlike for example the GRAW and HL2 engines.

i have an european account and i cheated and downloaded the demo as well. surprise surprise it actually works on a ntsc system. so that goes to show it was made with north america in mind, i think the esrb or microsoft one or the other is holding it back. but yeah, the chromehounds demo was awesome. its not for people who have only played mechassualt 1 or 2 though. the mechs cant jump, there arent powerups, and the mechs move at a pace u actually think they would. its as much a tank sim as a mech sim. awesome game if u like pc mech games. its very sim like.


the reason i say its odd it works on a ntsc system is because some japanese demos, well they only got one exclusive demo, wont work on my system. i was so pissed after figuring out japanese addresses in order to make an account only to find it wouldnt work lol. the sad part is i was so bored during the last month i made that japanese account, didnt think about flipping thru the symbols and was actually translating it into japanese writing. yes i was that bored......thank god the invasion cod 2 pack is out.

They are the EXACT reasons i didnt like the game

Mechassault is like what Burnout is to racing games. Unreal but fun.

Chromehounds is like Forza.(If mechs were actually available.)
