I have rented this game on my flirtrental account and I must say its pretty good. My first impression was, this is a bit 'jap'.... if you know what i mean.

If you buy (or rent) it, make sure you switch the controls to real from arcade. the arcade mode is completely pointless as you cant seem to dodge any missiles that get fired at you. Once you change it to real, you can pull off barrel rolls etc with ease.

The replays look really nice too. I does have some cheesy commentry etc but other than that i am enjoying it

My initial rating straight off would have been about 6/10. But I am about 2hrs in now and would give it 8/10.

Anyone else got this game?

I want to get it, but at £50 (about $90) it's a bit expensive for me at the moment.

Although it's my birthday tomorrow, if anyone wants to donate hmv vouchers or something.

ugh i know what you mean, i work part-part-part time 4 days a week, for like 4 hours a day and still have to fill up my car at $65 a tank. goddamn suv's, but they're so much fun.

Have to admit, not massively keen on it so far. Really don't like the control system (either Real or Arcade) - feels too... heavy.

I'll give it more time, but first impressions: really kinda dull.

Chrome Hounds is great though. Enjoying that muchly!

Got it, anyone wants to play some live stuff this weekend so I can also test that aspect, because currently I have only flown some really boring missions online with complete morons.

I got it from intothegame.com (free trial), but I'm stuck on area 3 the last mission, I keep blowing up!!! anybody got any advice??
