Handhelds ftw

Words can't describe how much I love my PSP and DS Lite. I never was a big fan of handhelds until this gen but now that the graphics are at an acceptable level and the third party developers are taking it serious as well I love it.

Who's with me? Which handhelds do you own, which games do you play etc?

(I know the picture quality sucks, I'll take a better shot tomorrow

Isn't that your mom's DS? I reccon you mentioning your mom wants to buy one for the brain game..

But ontopic: I owned the first gameboy and it rocked back in the day.. Haven't touched the new generation of handhelds b/c I don't have time or a place to play a handheld. Only time I play a game is when I'm home and it's much easier to boot up my 360 for a game. The DS looks rather fun though.. Maybe I'll get one of those in the near future.. We'll see

Yeah it's hers but as I said earlier ; she barely looks at it so I can use it whenever and wherever I want

. But I just got my PSP so I'm only playing on that for the moment

I love my ds lite and my psp.

The only gripe I have is with how delicate the psp's screen is. I'm extremely careful with my electronics. I treat it as my baby most of the time and I have to talk myself into letting other people touch any device that I own. So to see a scratch on it just pisses me off. I realize the psp would lose some sexiness if it were to have a flap or a screen cover that folds over it, but it needs SOMETHING. It also needs another thumbstick. Some of the controls in different games are 'odd' to say the least.

With the ds? I just wish the older one wasn't as bulky as it was. The lite is 150% better than the original in my eyes.

Just picked up my black DS Lite last monday. I just couldn't resist the urge to relive that oldskool platform vibe with New Super Mario Bros. It's pretty easy, but highly addictive, and the mini games are a real laugh as well (especially with some friends on wifi....

)

Speaking of multiplayer; This afternoon, while grabbin' a cold one on a local terras with three friends, we tested the MarioKart MP, and I have to say it's absolutely brilliant. We definitely turned some heads while celibrating our first MP victories. You should've seen the look on the look their faces; four guys in their late 20's having fun with kiddy games......PRICELESS

I recieved my black Nintendo DS Lite yesterday and it's soooo sweet. It was finally delivered at my house after a slight delay. I have the following games: New Super Mario Bros, Resident Evil:DS and Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training.

One small downside is that my left thumb is killing me, argh! I have to get in shape again before i can own the handheld scene

This is my first handheld console since my gameboy which I got in '89.

I'm either at home and then I got my 360 (and Wii at the end of the year

) when I'm not too busy, or I'm out and too busy

I'd wish I'd have some spare time to waste on handhelds

I have an PSP only game I play is SOCOM(go figure eh). I might get a DS lite, but not sure.

i got mario and luigi superstar saga to play on my gba for vacation last week. 20 hours in the car and i was only on driving duty for 4. mwahahaha. this was the first time i've played gba in at least 6 months, and i dont plan on buying other systems. my sister has a ds lite though.

I had a psp, but sold it. Didn't have the time playing with it, and i still have my 360 at home

so no more handhelds for me.
