Wow sick, I got 1500 or something in my first playthrough. Won't be playing it again anytime soon with the Saint's Row demo online and SF2 coming up within 24 hours.

Cant remember my biggest combo, but I do love this game. I played the demo and pre-ordered it instantly. I have to admit I'am a big fan of the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors games though

Well it's very repetitive, which means only fun fro a little while but than you can't really take anymmore lol, it's called the "dynasty warriors flaw"

There will be moore characters to play in the full game hopefully that will make it a little less repetitive (hopefully)

lol my friend told me he walked into his kitchen away from his room while tapping the x button and came back and he was still alive but all his knights were dead..hmm..doesnt seem like a challenge

I got into the low 3000s, it was a part near the end where you can release some baulders, and if you time it right they roll over a huge army, they got most of my combo points, and basically stringed everything together.

the first time i played it i got 1338...if only i had stopped killing one second earlier, i could have been 1337. oh well.

But than again, you said such things about GTA: San Andreas and proclaimed that you enjoyed the Saint's Row demo more than GTA.

I managed a 6500 combo, done it right were the first set of boulders that you can roll down were. All y button with the third weapon you can pick up which seems to do more hits per button.

No offence, but its probably the same as going circles in G-Wars or pressing the A button on UNO..

BTW It's the show you're getting by pressing those simple 2 buttons.. I remember the 'Streets of Rage' days. There were 2 buttons; kick and hit. But nevertheless it was great when 10 enemies surrounded you and you kicked all their asses by pressing A and B like crazy. Or Decathlon on the C64 where pushing left and right as fast as possible was the only thing you've had to do.. Some people still enjoy this arcade style now and then.. I know I do..

No, as Cage says it's the show you get. Plus being a bit pedantic here maybe but you use more than x,y what about 'a' for jumping, 'b' for specials or 'LT' for blocking and 'RT' for specials. Also i love the fact this game doesn't pander to the masses with checkpoints or saves whenever you want, i like games to punish you for mistakes it makes me play better.

Have to agree on that.. Who doesn't remember the days with sonic and mario where all you had were 3 lives and maybe a Continue or 2 to finish the game. Save the game? Never heard of it.. I've played those games so many times from the beginning and dying half way through the game only to start again from the beginning.. Must have taken a couple of dozen times starting all over again before finally finishing the game. It was one hell of a feeling when you've finally finished the game. You don't see that in a game no more. Don't think people would buy such a game nowadays.. too bad.. Those were good times..

But what if something comes up and you have to leave for an emergency or something and in my opinion i don't wanna leave my console on to overheat. So then a save is well needed and doesn't mean it's your fault for not being able to beat it, and if someone wants a game with no savepoints than jsut dont save the game lol.
