no single game in europe this month? (again)

I can't really find good sources for EU release dates. For the US you have gamestop (only updating a month ahead to be at least sure it has some credibility)

Summer is always slow. Publishers don't want to release while people are on holiday on one hand and want to wait for the lucrative Christmas season.

Been that way for over 20 years now

According to my local indie games shop, there's a huge flood on September 9th though - something like 12 games being released!

Although I'm sure half of those will slip.

Exactly. And it's not as if a couple of those couldn't be pushed up a bit - Dead Rising for example - seeing as it'll be out in NA before here.

Don't be daft - this is Europe we're talking about - they enjoy shafting us.

It's not even like it would take any work from them either - just make the game region free, print some new covers and bingo.

It's nonsense that it can't be here at the same time as the US release.

Isn’t N3 coming out in the second or third week of this month? Most retailers still mention September 1st , but I could have sworn reading something about an August release for Europe as well…

that would be great. And I can't wait for castle crashers, alien hominid and mad tracks...bunch of game that look as fun as some of the 360 games...it's funny, my girlfriend jokes at me everytime cause i have this 400 dollar system and all these games and here i am playing uno or bankshots billiards lol.

LOL yup I know what you mean. Frogger & Galaga must be utilising at least 4%-6% of the 360's horsepower. But damn XBLA games are FUN.

Well uhm, Frogger is from 1981, from before the days that the Commodore 64 with its 1Mhz CPU was lightning fast. Considering the Xbox 360 has three 3200Mhz cores and an IPC at least 10 times better than the old 6502 of the C-64, I sure hope 4-6% is a high estimate
