Are the following games any good?

I was browsing the pre-owned section in my local games shop and couldn't believe how many Xbox titles were in there, and how cheap they were. Seeing as a lot of them are backwards-compatible with the 360, I thought I'd look into a few I'd not played before.

Deathrow, a sort of hardcore version of Speedball I think, I didn't hear about this at all when it first came out?

Manhunt, I know it's violent but is the gameplay any good?

Black, hyped up quite recently but in the bargain bin already, is that because it's rubbish?

...And any other games from this list, and specifically whether you know if they play well in backwards-compatibility? (For instance, Half-Life 2 is pretty jerky and slow to load when played on 360)

I think I only heard massively good comments on Black. They might've waited for initial fullprice sales to drop before going to budget price immediately to reap full effect of the hype still? Viable marketing strategy if the product does have enough strength to milk early adopters and then appeal to many late adopters...

I heard some negative things about Black but dunno for sure, haven't played it yet.

Deathrow is awesome if you play it with 3 friends. Had a blast with it when I played it a couple of years ago. There was a hype when it was set for PC under a different title but that kinda numbed down a bit when it came close to release. Still a fun title to play.

I was pretty excited for Manhunt when I first heard about it but when I played it I got bored because I don't like stealth gameplay at all. I think it's good if you're into stealth...

Well I'll start off saying that I loved Deathrow as well, very fun when other people are over too. One of the first games I played when I got my xbox.

I did not liek Manhunt at all though, Very boring in my opinion.

And I was going to pick up Black when it got cheap now that its on the B/C list, so I can't give an opinion of that. My friend liked it, but said it was a little short.
