Xbox Core pack, £99.99?!

I just received an e-mail from Virgin Megastores, advertising yet another of their sales. Normally these e-mails are filtered straight into my spam folder, but this one, for reasons unknown to myself, I needed to open up.

Here's the image contained in the e-mail:


Yep, that says Xbox 360 Core Pack, £99.99. 8am, Thursday 28th September.
OK, so it's the core pack, but at a price like that you can buy the hard drive and wireless pads as extras, and still only spend roughly the same as you'd pay for the Core system at full price. Or less if you sell the copy of FIFA world cup that comes with it.

So if you live near one of those Megastores in the UK and still haven't got a 360, go NOW!
A friend of mine works up the road from the one in Leeds, he's queueing up at 7am for it. Bless.
