I like the advert with the eggs anyone would think there has never been a tilt pad before. Didn't Microsoft make a Sidewinder pad that had a tilt function years ago?

Agreed. Waiting in line for a week or more to spend 600$... is crazy to me. I mean flipping it for 1-3k is a great idea... but a week?

I woke up two hours early for the 360 launch. That's how dedicated I am!

I pre-ordered my 360 from gamespot the first day they had their pre-orders open. Got same-day shipping and that was it. Except a week later it broke, but I got another one in 4 or 5 days from good 'ol MS.

Acromyth, are the Japanese getting excited for the PS3? Or is it all headed toward the Wii? (We all know the Xbox's fate, so I won't even ask about that.)

It's definitely WAY more towards the Wii. People are freaking out over it, it's insane. I think the success of the DS Lite has establishd a well-earned increase in the faith that gamers have in Nintendo, plus, the price, controller and classic download REALLY has Japanese gamers excited. With the PS3, it's more like, "I already have a PS2, and the PS3 is the same thing with better graphics, but the Wii is something totally new." They aren't as much into online stuff unless it's a PC MMO, and Blu-ray and HD-DVD are barely known here. It's safe to say the PS3 won't catch on for a while. Xbox 360 is definitely gaining momentum though, people are realizing that Xbox isn't so bad after all.

People that do that are lame. Who is like i have nothing to do with my life but sit infornt of a store and wait for a Playstation. Shame i say Shame

Yeah. I sat in front of my gameshop in a car for a half hour on launch night of the 360 and I snagged one by some miracle. (People hated me for a while after they were out for 24 - 36 hours waiting for one and STILL didn't get one )
